    Thanks for the response. I don't talk a whole lot on ssb, mostly am. It does it on both tho. I just get annoyed at the frequency counter changing when I key. Was just curious on if the vr7 changed your counter. I don't really want to spend the $ if its an easy fix.

    When keyed the last digit of the freq. Counter reads 6 instead of 5. Researched a little but only found 1 answer which is to adjust v7 in the radio. Can anyone tell me will this work or should I have it aligned?
