It was a Titan. At the time I was running a Browning Eagle R-27 S-23 AM only. I still use it once in a while.

It's a CB. Not an export either. Why would it have FM.

My late father-in-law had a Tram that had double sideband. It was very loud on AM and sideband. Until he sent it to Tram to have something fixed. Anyone on here ever use DSB?

I am a CB'er. Started about the same time as you. I dropped out when it went crazy. At that time I also had a general coverage Ham receiver. I was interested in 2m mostly. I thought about getting my ticket too. But I started hearing garbage on 2m just like on CB. Swearing, etc...

My thoughts: CB's stay on 11m and Ham operators stay on their bands. Then no problems.

I'm looking at a MFJ 264 1,500 watts intermittent 0 to 650MHz dummy load for $129.95. If memory, from the 70's, serves me correctly, MFJ is a good company. I run at max 500 watts. What do you guys think of this?
