You have a knob on the top row labeled PWR for RF power going out of the radio. Just use a wattmeter ands dial the output power back. No need to get inside the radio. God to Youtube.com and watch a few editorials on the radio to find out what dials do what, if you do not have a manual for the...
I have had some power supplies that are very noisy and I must complete the circuits myself to get the noise out of noisy power supplies. I use a couple very large capacitors in parallel to filter out the noise or an added inductor to stop the hum from getting through a noisy power supply. But...
If you are using a battery charger stop using it. The battery charger is not switched and is creating the hum noise or you have a bad capacitor in the power supply not filtering out the AC hum of the incoming current from the wall. Either use a charger connected to a 12 volt battery or use a...
It should go to the pair of capacitors in the series (33pF rated for 500 volt) connected to the spot between the three resistors that are valued at, 10,000 ohms looks to be 2 watt each, the spot is located next to the end that is between resistor one and number two, that goes directly to the...
If they changed the tubes in it they had to change the circuits around to adapt them to operate correctly in the circuitry or it wouldn't work at all and burn the tubes up or fail to operate the tubes altogether.
Mine has 30
Mine has 30KD6 in it, and I too need a schematic for it with a complete parts list, that would help repairing it. NEEDED INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APPRICIATED.
I'm looking for schematics for mine as well. Someone posted earlier wondering if they had the right tubes in theirs. Mine has 30KD6 in mine. I have no schematics or manual for this device and I am wanting to bring it back to factory specs. Any help would be appreciated.
