Help with antenna setup and swr in a Jeep

i'm an electronic newb... mechanical is my field.. so fair warning there on the jeep though, i have a jeep and the lack of a metal roof is the number one issue... mine came with a 4' firestick antenna on it when i bought it, and all i can tell you is that antenna is a POS... went down to...
