I finally got my nanovna calibrated and tested at my coax connection see previous picture. And this is the results. Vertical is a minute amount better. Seems to work well lots of contacts but vary directional.
I really appreciate all the input from the team. I think and hope this will be my last question. I bought a nanovna. So this question is about calibration of the unit. I know the standard process. However if I’m going to use a 1/2 wave jumper with the alligator clips should I do the calibration...
Yeah you’re right. For me it was a one time use. And the wire wound was just stuff I had hanging around the shack. But if you know how to get my frequency out put to match the displayed frequency on my sark 100 I would appreciate any suggestions. Look at the attachment at the beginning of the...
This is how I made my calibration rigs. You just have to get the right combination of resistors to get the correct values. Or order the exact resistors.
I inherited this antenna setup from my uncle. Made a lot of contacts UK, Australia just a few. But this antenna setup has been a rabbit hole ever sense I got it. I had several lengths of coax. Depending on how I hook up the jumpers between radio, amp, meter and my multi point antenna connection my...
I emailed the owner designer of the L6. And the manual says the same thing. Leave both feed lines connected. But I think that’s is for tuning for lowest SWR in the shack. We know from many post here and other formats that you either connect the analyzer directly to feed point or a 1/4 wave...
Should I unhook my feed lines from the antenna to test with an analyzer? I have a quarter wave @27.205 length of coax connected to the analyzer with clips for connecting to the boom and tuning stubs.
