hey I have a Sirio performer 5000 with the 145pl magnet mount I want to know the cable it comes with is not long enough to mount it towards the rear of my cherokee.,the 12' cable that came with its no long enough any ideas where I can purchase the 5 meter cable or can I use RG400 or LMR 240uf...

ok got brave and opened up my mag mount everything is connected and soldered perfectly found some solder paste or silicone on the copper tab near the screw hole so I cleaned that....tried with two different radios today both stock President grant, and a uniden pc66a... both same results radios...

it's new I've mounted and just removed it To move forward and hasn't been yanked
