Need Help RCI-2990DX

Need Help RCI-2990DX

I have a RCI 2990dx from a widow who husband owned this radio, which I am suppose to sell for her, when I checked it, the sound from the speaker does not sound clear, it sounds like the speaker is ripped, I hooked up an external speaker, I got the exact same results, very hard to understand...
