    Who to buy from online?

Your radio was set at about 4.8 watts dead key and about 25 watts PEP on a Bird 43P. I suspect the meter you are using to measure power is off a bit. We're very happy it's getting out well. Your mounting bracket shipped out yesterday via USPS.

    Who to buy from online?

Al, Our description of the tune should really be changed. We typically don't see more than about 25 watts or so out of a DX959. When the description was written it was more or less referring to a Galaxy DX33 or similar single final export style radio. I will make sure we try harder in the...

Highland, Did you email us through our order status system? The only email I saw this morning regarding shipping was from a customer who ordered a Superstar 3900, but the order had shipped out yesterday and it was to late to change the shipping service. I apologize for our lack of...

Highmiler, The Connex 4600 does have a built in fan just like your Ranger 6900150 or a Galaxy DX95T. Thanks

    Northpoint NT-9 HP

Hello, No there isn't any type of circuit in these radios that would "Shut" the radio down like you have described. Really the only time we've see a situation like this is when there is a poor or loose solder connection where the power wire is soldered to the board.

    Connex 4600 Turbo

High Miler is most defiantly correct about the 80 - 90 watts on the 4300HP. We are seeing this type of power on a bird RF analyst.

    Connex 4600 Turbo

I would estimate on the retail end you'll see them for around $379 or so. That is more expensive than the DX48T, but for some people the Connex is what they prefer. At this point the Connex will have 2) 2sc2290 final transistors, which is very similar any other radio out there with a built in...
