I always thought a ground plane was more than just running a ground wire to chassis? I know antenna benefits from a good ground. Dont ground plane antennas need more than a wire tied to a chassis so they work correctly???

Yes there are concerns, that's why I am asking you guys.. I do not think I can add that antenna on top of the RV.. That will make the antenna tip at 16.5 feet.. If using a 5.5' antenna like the predator 10K. Antenna needs to be mounted on the rear ladder.... Question for big truck...
