    2000 GTL unknown mod

Ok, so since it is already in the radio is there any suggestions of how I might go about shielding it if possible at this point?

    2000 GTL unknown mod

First off I apologize for being impatient and posting this twice. I'm still getting used to how this site works. Now the radio actually works quite well, the rx is not noisy at all, and it only has the channels it originally came with. As for mods the only one I know it had was an open clarifier...

Hello all, I'm hoping to find something out. I have a 2000 gtl and I'm trying to figure out what this is and why it is in here. I don't think it's factory. Any insight or ideas are greatly appreciated. 73's

Here is a shot of the base. And yes there are two feed points. One for the vertical and one for the radials.

Don't 5/8 wave antennas require a loading coil?

    Base Signal Engineering DPX-2000A

Hi all, first time posting here. I recently picked up a N.O.S. DPX-2000A base antenna and can't find any info on it. I do know that is vertically and horizontally polarized. Is anyone familiar with this antenna? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You and 73's!
