Hi guys i'm in need of information on how to wire a johnson 250-888-2 mic with a 4 wire cable and johnson 5 pin plug attached already to use on a Johnson Messenger 250 50th anniversary radio. The radio calls for a 5 pin mic .
The light goes out when microphone is keyed, but problem solved. I found a old EV element that I used to put in place of the Heil HC-5 element and problem solved. Thanks guy for all the great information.
sorry I wasn't clear in describing what I meant but I got the information I'm looking for from Caption Kilowatt. I'm going to use the cable saddle clamps. Thanks everyone for the information.
Hi guys, spongbob here, I'm thinking about mounting a Maco v 5000 ground plane above my m107 flat beam.My ? is how much distance above the beam do I need ? Thanks in advance.
Thanks guys for all the good information but I've solved my anchor problem with help of neighbor. My next question is about 3/16 steel coated cable. I already have every thing I need to use this stuff but do I need to strip the coating where the big grip dead ends will be attached?
Thanks for the info I was going to use 2 sets of 3 wires but what can I do about the short wire because I have no more room on that side. By the way I'm using a hazer on this tower.
Question about anchor placement. I'm putting up a 60' Rohn 25g tower and I have room for 2 anchors at 50' from base and the other 1 20'. screw in type anchors, will this work?
Hi, spongbob here with another issue. I have a Rohn 25G tower 50 ft that i'm going to guy at the top,but my question is if I use coated cable do I still need to use insulators?
Thanks guys for all the good information. I have decided to go with Maco spec for the M107 beam. This is the beam that I use so I might experiment with the 40 foot boom later.
Hi all, I need some information on element spacing on a Maco M107 beam. I lengthen the boom to 40 feet and need advice on element spacing. Thanks in advance.
