i just bought a nice cobra cam 88 sometimes it wont key and when it does no modulation ive checked mic that is ok ive checked all tubes some cheks weak but none actually checks bad any one have any suggestions HELP

yeah i have one the one i have is a clean radio no mic dont know if it works tho i gace 85 dollers for it becouse ive only seen a few we had one when i was growing up pm me if interested
this radio recieves good all lights and meter works when u key the radio the transmit light comes on but it has no dead key and no modulation andf on my meter and freq. counter it showes nothing where do i start?
