No Transmit/Recieve
g day mate from australia. there are 2 x transitors near the front of the radio. from memory 2SB525 (?) , they are your switching transistors. replace them as they can't handle excissive current. good luck and cheers.- Uncle Ray

WKS1001 / MC154156 / OLD 858pll - No Audio output
Hello Guys. As above , what does work is... Receive needle moves. Does TX with Mod on SSB & AM. If I inject a signal around the audio chip you can hear it. If I place a finger around chip there IS a hum. Squelch works ( you can hear it faintly going off and on via the speaker )...- Uncle Ray
