I did a test with a buddy of mine comparing the Monkey Made MM-4 to the Steel whip with spring at a distance of about 15mi. running a Galaxy DX949, he was receiving on a Cobra 25LTD and the results was: Both came in at the same s-units but the monkey definetly had a lot more audio, it was louder...

Hi All, Trying to wire up a mic to a JCPenney 6204 CB Radio, it has a 5-pin din plug like the ones found on Radio Shack radios, but the wiring is different. Anybody knows anything about this radio would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have a Sirio Tornado 5/8, it performs very well, good swr, mounted on a 30' pole withstood a hurricane 4 years ago and its still transmitting today, but I've been looking at an Imax2000 also.

Oops! Sorry, I just saw that now, I think because it jumps to the latest reply it went straight to pg 3, $200 is still a good deal if it's been tuned by a reputable tech or better yet if it's bone stock, I would be game for it if it's one of the two Dorian.
