Bought one of these on a whim.

Great sounding mic, using it on an Optima MK3. Reports give it loud, crisp and clean audio. Beats out the HM-36 and the stock Phantom Powered obligatory mic.

It's cheap, decent construction with a nice supple cord. They make one for Kenwood also.

I like the HM-12 a lot better than the HM-36, not sure if I would like this one, it's way too small for me to hold, kind of like the old stock mics on the 257 Magnum but if it works good that's what matters
