Just so the user group knows; the repeater is temporarily down. Either when the power to the building went out, or came back on something either tripped or went out. KAO and DTO have no access to the controller, it's not responding and they can't get the repeater up n' running. {Cry_river}

They're making efforts to get up there today (Monday) and diagnos. Hopefully be back up and running here shortly or at the very least get the portable repeater up there so we can get back on the air!!!

I went over to troubleshoot the internet link and it is up and working on the valley side up to the mountain. The problem is up on the mountain, so it's going to take a trip up to see what has gone wrong.

Same numbers?

(Nebber mind. Can't hit Wilson if my life depended on it from here...)

Same numbers. Just no output encode decode tone, it was 123.0 just don't use that and still with the regular PL tone of 100.00

This should make most of us realize what a good site Sunset Ridge really is. It's hit & miss into Mt Wilson from both Camp SuperLoop and Susan's Laguna QTH's. I totally understand the difficulty getting in from Running Springs as mountains can be like an RF Firewall. I have a straight shot into Wilson from the Laguna QTH. Dismal results on the handheld and a tuff go when in the 20 watt moble. I'm guessing it's do to the inheretant site-noise found at most premium mountain sites.

Hope to hear Sunset back on the air soon and would like to offer my Running Springs QTH for a temp solution if necessary. 73-from Harper & I. Gregg KI6IUJ
