Give it a try. It's been quite a while (last spring) since I was seeing the activity. Back then Europe was in every morning. By afternoon, the band shifted to south of the border. I saw quite a few very nice scans back then. It looks like the activity is picking back up. The only problem are stations that aren't aware of the activity and cause difficulty with reception.

Somewhere I have a stack of 3.5" disks filled with captures of SSTV on 27.700 MHz from when I was playing that mode back in the 90's.

That's cool IMD262! I'm a fairly recent observer of the activity myself. I'd like to see how many countries I can log (receive). I'm just an "swl". You might consider placing those images on one of the "photobucket" type websites for all to see. Your images are an interesting history of the activity back then.

Btw, I logged Venezuela on sstv for the first time yesterday.
