Thank you DoctorAudio, now if i could just find some info on this radio... Got backswing on the meter when I transmit. Theres a couple adjusters on the back panel but they're not labelled... Dan
Dan, I have 2 of the USL Contact 23. What do you want to know about them. I have one working well and one that just hums. The crystal configuration is simple math and I have a schematic and a picture of the tube and coil layout. email me at mrmeter@juno.com if you need any of this. Hr

This schemo came from my CB Tricks DVD.
The adustments on the back are probably the final Tune and Load. The one that looks like it has more capacitance will be the Load control. Can't go wrong peaking each one for max modulated power.
