I can't find any info online about this amplifier. Is anybody familiar with this? I'm assuming it's a 200 W amp. Can you help me with some info? I want to test it, but I have some concerns about running it on my radio. It Powers up. No other testing has been done.

Probably be very similar to this amp on the video. It would be considered a low drive amp. Yours will be a 2 pill, hard to say what finals will be in there. You might have to pop the cover and look. mrf454, mrf455, srf3749, and if they have been replaced maybe sd1446. A pic of the inside would be cool.

Right on! Thanks for the info. I'll remove the cover and take pics on the inside. Check the finals. Give me a day or two.

Okay. I made an executive decision to forgo an outdoor project due to the temperature today. So I got pics and info on the inside of the amp. The transistors are almost impossible to see. I tried to hold a pointer in there , but it was too difficult to get a pic with the phone and the light and a pointer at the same time that wasn't blurry . It's labeled as MRF454

Damn it! Here's the finals. TIP 3055 C0229. Kind of Dusty in there. It doesn't look that bad with the naked eye. That photo makes it show up loud and clear. Also it looks like there's two of those same pills on the preamp stage.

Those are pass transistors used for regulation in the power supply that runs the amp.

The other two MRF transistors are doing the RF amplifier work.
