Things looking up at Hy-Gain-

Ameritron amps and Hy-Gain antennas for sure.

Looks like Mr. Jue back-pedaled some about any buyer for his companies would have to remain in Ms. You gotta admire his loyalty to his workers. I seem to recall Mr. Duffy at DXEngineering made a reasonable acquisition attempt but was turned downed because the business would no longer be in Ms.

Ameritron amps are still viable options for many people looking for medium power tube and SS amps along with the high power big boy toys and it would be nice to see Ameritron amps back in production.

If only the new company can hire Tom Rauch as design consultant, they would certainly have a winner!

Let's hope this is a new beginning for a couple of brands that were almost gone.

One thing is for sure, the quality can only go up.....

This is also the first I have heard, that they picked up Ameritron and Mirage. The initial acquisition, was only Hy-Gain and Cushcraft. Those are the only brands, that mattered, at MFJ. I have Yaesu rotors too, but my old Hy-Gains, have a place in my life a Yaesu cannot fill. A few need a refresh, that is in progress, waiting for parts!

I have 2 Ameritron's also, that are in need of parts.
