My Q6PRO has been relegated to the mobile, but I did get a spare. Seems a shame to turn down a 100w radio to 15-17w to drive an amp. At least put a 703 behind it.
Same - A lot of DX today. I could hear JJ on 37 when he wasn't being buried by the pile but couldn't get back to him. I made several contacts on 435LSB and then I had to go to work. I will try again tomorrow.
I agree the "0"'s are better but I was trying to accommodate the folks with channelized radios that can't get on the "0"'s easily. Right now I am on 435LSB.
I realize everyone may not have the ability, but I highly recommend 27.415, 425, or 435 LSB when skip is running. Hardly any traffic and a much better chance to make a contact and close enough tune wise to not be an issue. 37 is a Cluster when skip is rolling - at least here with 10+ stations...
Usually, it is adjusting capacitance to ground - pf range. For example, the KL-703 has 120pf to ground on its input (Relay in TX, not bypass). This usually results in a 1.4~1.5 input SWR. By adding some additional capacitance to ground - 20~40pf (fixed or variable) - you can get it down to 1.1...

and download the application. Install it on your computer. The program is 11 years old and may not have your exact coax, but you should be able to find an...
My Cantenna doesn't have a very good match either for a dummy load. I always get a 1.2~1.3 SWR using it. Haven't measured the ohms. My GoldLine 2KW dummy load (paint can style) does a lot better. You can try removing the tap on the Cantenna and see if that changes things.
Running a Sirio Gainmaster .625 for the last 2 weeks and have been VERY impressed with it. I am not a fan of wire antennas (Dipoles, A99, Imax 2K, Tram, Proton, etc.) for 11 meters - I prefer metal - but this wire antenna has outperformed all of these other wire antennas that I have used over...
@Pez - what is the chance that QX will come out with a Q5NPro?
All the features of the Q6Pro (& more) in the Q5 chassis.
I like the larger/better display (triple meters; S meter more granular & +60dB; physically larger, easier to read; 7 digit freq display, etc.) and the better heatsink - maybe...
