So just sat down today. the 4.5 signal is on IC pin 1 so far..also on X2. There is no signal on X3 either RX or TX..its supposed to have a 10.695 signal..btu..

the L14 slug is fine..I can turn it from top to bottom easy..I hear mostly 11m stations but turning to almost the top, I can hear CW and Brazilians AM ops at AM at 28.310

I finally got a genuine 2sc1266 driver for the Emperor..replaced the 330ohm and the 47ohm that is parrelel with the driver choke.. the 477 is not soldered on yet.. I removed the bias bridge, adjusted the driver bias pot to 50mA, and it stays steady..put back the bridge. At SSB mode no...
