I noticed my kl203 doesnt want to unkey itself after transmission if or when my 203 is close or on top my 89xlr but if i move the amp 6 feet away on the same jumper it works just fine and puts out 125 peak drivin 8 carrier swing 20
I have a brand new kl-203 right out of the box its having the same issues when i unley the mic the box stays in transmission until i turn off the power on the box itself.
Its not back feeding and ive only driven 1 watt swing 4 to 5 input.
I dont see how it would be a stuck relay of it goes back...

I broke the tune pod in my dm-1000 how can i disable the talkback feature Because with the tune pod gone now its all the way up with the pod gone i dont want talk ack at all
Im useing a wilson 2000 trucker as a base antenna mounted to the railing of my apartment balcony and im very pleased with its performance.

I remember buying a road devil new back in the 1990,s and within 2 weeks the ptt relay inside the mic just came completley apart right off its little circuit slider so i threw it out the window never owned another
I just recenlty traded for one of these and when i looked on the inside i noticed the circuit board has a space in front appears to be reserved for a AM/SSB switch and relay that ofcoarse is not there.
Im just curious of this type of circuitry if its common to see in other brands of solid state...
My ssb pinto was thought to have ahad a crystal gone bad or a dirty channel dial from loss of channels 21 to 23 that turned out to be socket for the driver crystal.
2 tiny peices of copper wire soldered in place of the old traces was needed to fix the problem
I have a JC Penny 6240 pinto AM SSB mobile base that works great except for non working channels 21 22 and 23 that do not receive nor transmit.
I cleaned and lubed the channel dial contacts that did improve the performance of the radio on all other channels but 21 22 and 23 stillnot working...
