    Used to make the on on the Left, Picked up a telescopic mast from RS a Mirror mounth and 102" stainless whip. Had a 1:1 all 40 channels. Yes there are better antennas but at the time I was on a budget and it worked very well.

    So I've done my best to get this radio back to specs, it was my fathers and I do wish to keep it. The unit transmits just fine"ish" and receives amazing but has a hum during transmission (no hum on the PA output). I've tried multiple power sources, battery, and different power supplies. 1...
