I thought Cobra 148's used a 2SC1419 ?? That's an NPN. What is in the Malaysia chassis? Pinout on a C1419 is also BCE (NPN) C148 schematic from CBTricks (archive.org) Maybe you were thinking C148 GTL-DX or Galaxy clones for a PNP?
