Thank you, Needlebender.
You make the Gain Master sound like a winner, for sure. Maybe higher noise levels are just a characteristic of the Imax. And I am sure my location is not helping in that regard.
Just this morning I was reminded of why I like metal right now. Europe was just...
Thanks Needlebender. Are you the same NB67 I hear on 38LSB? If so we may have spoken before.
I have been looking at the Gainmaster and all the other offerings by Sirio and others. The one thing that keeps that antenna from being at the top of my list is the fiberglass construction. I am...
Thank You Marconi,
I especially enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing them.
I'm not sure who makes the M400 Starduster I bought. But I think it's made in China. Are links to E-bay allowed? If not, just search M400 Starduster and it will be the first one that comes up from seller...
Hello to all of you who keep the CB Antenna section interesting as heck for me to read. Your thoughts, experimentations and videos are greatly appreciated.
I had gotten out of the hobby a few years ago and at that time had been using an Anttron 305. It may have been 30' to the feedpoint. The...
My fishing season is still over a month away and I've been bored out of my mind so I made a Dipole to experiment with. I wanted something with horizontal polarity as I have a vertical antenna.
I do have a few questions, if you'd all be so kind.
The noise level is consistantly 2-5 S-units...

I'm doing well, Ron...it's fishing season so I've been on the ocean waves a lot more than I've been on the air waves.
Hope you get your KLV straightened out so we can chat again!

Hi Ron...long time no post.
Maybe we could have a nice qso with the short summer skip.
Way to pull in the UK. I've only had my radio on a couple times over the last few days, but it sure is quiet!

On 27.500 USB right now.
I'm getting a weak signal here on the east coast, but if conditions improve...and it sounds as if they are as I type this, I'll give it shot.
It might be the same DX'peditoner as last year. A German operator named Max, if I remember correctly.
Have at it...
