I have a brand new TS250HDV and when I power the amplifier on, the relay automatically engages, making it impossible to receive anything. I tried 2 different radios, mics, coax and power sources, but with the same problem. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm pulling my hair out!

I have a Sparky Cobra 29 Stealth and I run the Skythumper on it. I've gotten great reports on it as well. I don't use that mic on every radio, but on my work truck It's the skythumper. In my mobile on my 959 I used a D104m6b.

The p5 p6 mod works well on that radio. Only down side is having 2 switches sticking out of the case.

The 959 does tend to have loud audio...I've always gotten good reports!

I'm going to have to disagree right there...I run a Cobra 29 on a DAVE MADE 1x4 which is a Class C box and I will gladly key down with someone of similar power. Not only is the DAVE box louder, but my audio is crystal clear. Yes Class C amps can splatter, but there are a few ways to avoid that...

Buy DAVE MADE! Fatboy is a decent box, but there is nothing like that golden box with those magical pills.... :)
