I have all those kits Expo 100 A-S-I -L-C-D. Im looking for the N kit to see if low channel can be done. I also have the Galaxy N kit.

The directions state kit setup for uppers and lowers. But no mention on how.

I know this is an old post but mentioned they have upper and lower channels. I installed one in a 29ltd and also a TRC465 ssb and wondering how to get the lower channels below ch 1. thanks

Answering my own question i did find a list here. Next question. On the Galaxy Expo n kit directions would anyone have the original directions that has a radio list that this kit will work on? I saw one posted and was very poor quality to read. thanks

Seems replacing R130 and adjusting the bias helped a lot. I have been talking on the radio and no ssb audio complaints. Thanks for all the help.

NZ8N So your saying pullup the c94 leg on pin 10 and put a wire on the leg of c87 and the other on pin 10. C87 i think put a 100pf cap across c87 to broaden the range is this correct.

When I install The S Kit or A Kit its only for 40 above and 40 below i have no problems there. I did try to do 80 above and 40 below on a cobra 29ltd and was able to only get about 20 channels on the 40 + + bands so there is nothing up there and adding 80 extra channels are more than enough i...

That radio uses an Expo S kit and i have installed plenty of them in the cobra 25s. problem is the best you will get is 40up and 40 down. The radio is not made to broadband 5 bands unless you have some type of powered added vco to broaden the range of the channels. I was doing the cobra 29s with...
