That is what confused me. I looked at the schematic and noticed the fine marking and 1k. But the 2547 only has 1 pot. No fine and coarse. Also all the other pots are marked vr# on the schematic but couldn't find a vr in clarifier circuit. Just that r1k. Just trying to get the clarifier to be...
Anybody know the value of the stock clarifier pot on a mosfet version of the dx2547? Hoping to put a 10 turn pot in. Any links to a good 10 turn is appreciated.
$24.95 and lower shipping.

I'll tell you something my dad told me when I was a kid. We were in his store and I asked him who would buy that old small black and white TV he had on the shelf. His reply was " you can take a shit on a paper plate and let it petrify , Put it in the front window. Sooner or later someone will...
I put a 2sc945 out of an old washington 8719 parts chassis I had. Fixed the AMC. I tried the ALC pot and it is in fact working. It just doesn't have the adjustment that I am familiar with. It's almost like it does nothing the first 3/4 of the way then its on. Kind of the same with ALC. But they...
They are stock. Looking at the trace side everything looks clean. No hacked solder work to point me. Just where the board is marked q57 looks a little like melted Flux but clean and there is no q57 in place.
Picked up a dx2547 that I believe someone removed the limiter as it is way over modulated in AM and SSB with mic gain up. AMC and ALC pot has no effect. Any pointers where to look for a snipped or removed component? Model with switching supply and mosfets ept069611a. Looks like q57 is missing...
That brace looks to me that someone pushed on that board and it fixed an issue of bad connections so instead of the correct fix they pushed it to that position and glued that brace to keep it there. Quick fix but I would seriously inspect the entire area as it is a known problem spot.
If you know 100% for sure the radio was working before being shipped then something banged loose or cracked. If you are only guessing it might have worked before shipping then you are chasing the unknown. That radio has so many resistors that take abuse and the circuit board disintegrates. So...
