SlackGirl, did you connect the external meter the correct way ? Sometimes in a hurry you may connect it backwards. Make sure you connect the antenna cable to the “ antenna port “ of the meter, and radio jumper to the “ radio port” .

That’s easy to test. Go get a magnet and see if it attracts the wire. If so, it is copper clad.

I think Zeetnias doesn’t have this antenna.

Hi. By chance, do you know brand and model of this antenna, and if it is a cb or ham antenna ? It is a 4 element, no trap beam. It has something like a double gama match. Any input is welcome.

No, the LED inside lit because they sense RF. Try with a fluorescent lamp close to the antenna and you’ll see it will lit.
