well now, after reading all the posts re. grounding, i have come to two conclusions,you should either ground your antenna,or not ground your antenna.whew. if your antenna is on the roof,it makes sense to run some kind of grounding wire to the earth,if for no other reason to relieve static...

it is the mohave,i live in mohave county arizona,between laughlin nevada and kingman az. the metal container at the left of the pix, is where my so-called man cave is where the antenna will be mounted
