Hi to all. When I check the dead key on my radios I notice that they all go up a little and then settle down.Is that normal? When they settle down is that the actual dead key. For instance one radio may go up to about 4 watts and then quickly settle back to 2 watts.
Thank you for your help...
Hi to all. Can someone tell me how to adjust the dead key on a Cherokee 1000? Which internal adjustment is used and how low can it be set?
Thank you for your help

What components can be damaged in an Italy mosfet amplifer by ALC overshoot? How can you test or determine which components are damaged? Thanks for any help here. Everyone on this forum has been extremely helpful to me. You are great radio people to have for help and giving advice.

Your diagram does not show the same band colors, but they are aprox. where R8 and R9 are in your diagram. They are smaller then R18 and R19, more the size of R8 and R9.
I am an old disabled guy without a smart phone, so I am unable to post pictures. The power transistors look great for what it is worth. Upon very close examination of this amp there are two resistors close behind the controls that appear to be burnt on the ends. They are blue with gold bands on...
