TR17 on the RF AMP is fine. TR18 on the Mixer is good, TR8 on the AM Mixer is good as is the AM IF AMP (TR9, 10, 11) first sign of issue is at TR15. TR 19, 20, 21, 22 good on SSB IF AMPs

just to clarify meter works on AM/FM and also swings on SSB Transmit just no Audio or Meter on SSB receive.

Thanks Andy, So actually Transmit is fine on AM & SSB, Receive is working on FM/AM with C35 Out. Just no receive on SSB. BTW the radio was working before I did the re-cap. I just wanted to get it re-capped before aligning it. With nothing on TR15 I am suspecting something in the Product...

Looks like I only have .78v on D7 when on SSB, nothing there when on AM.

Didn't get much time today, but I think there is an issue around the Product Detector TR15 has nothing on E, B, or C.

Strange I removed Cap 35 and got Audio back on AM only. Put in a new cap and Audio goes again.

Hi guys, I just completed a recap of this radio, for the most part I would replace a cap and test the radio and all was good, however for the last 8 I got a bit cocky and replaced all 8 without testing. When I powered back on I had no receive audio, I am able to transmit be it a bit garbled...

Tested TR14 and have .74 on the Base

Thanks, I did try adjusting VR2 and the needle does move when I transmitting from another radio in my own house, but stations that are normally 9+ aren't moving the needle.

Hi all, I am working on a Galaxy II with an EPT360010A board. Right now Signal Meter is working fine on AM/FM, but not on SSB receive, if I am transmitting on SSB the Needle swings fine. But just no movement on receive. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks Gavin
