    Most are .66 but not all. Mine cut at 9ft and tied the 4-6" back for the loop were good enough to not need further tuning. I don't have an analyzer so it is just an SWR reading...

    If you make a dipole out of coax, just below the split, get a short piece of 4" PVC and wrap the coax around it 5 times. Drill holes at the beginning and end of the choke for zipties. There you go. All in one dipole and choke.

    Medium-sized amp suggestions

    What Jerk is saying here is you need to multiply your power by 4 to increase the signal at the receiving end of you transmission just 1 S unit(6dB's) so don't get power hungry. At 256 watts you have added 3s units to get 3 more it gets crazy, 16,000watts!
