hello all my imax snapped and someone gave me a maco 5/8.i put this bugger on 10ft mast and started adjusting and after 2 days i gave up.i then decided to pull the radiator out and it was bolted through the base at the bracket (some idiot drilled a hole through it)so now the match is adjusting...

has anyone tried this modification?i only found 2 similar mods on cb tricks galaxy 88 and ranger/galaxy ept360011b up which look like very similar bards.according to one of them there is about 25 components that need to swapped for other parts but looking at the diagram i may not need all these...

i meant in mobile use since many of the popular antennas like wilson make grounplane kits now.

has anyone ever tried a groundplane kit on a 102 inch whip and if so how well did it work?

its all a bunch of crap these stupid cobra 29 videos are on all the forums most are on antennas when testing reading pep readings off ratshack meters and these guys will argue for days my lightly modified 29 keys 1 swings to 8 watts average unless i bump up the power supply voltage.these guys...

has anyone tried this ia have the old 257 and would like to swap erf2030s in her i did find a new schematic for the 2030 model and many parts are gone from the original mainly around the final section.any info would be great!
