a real solid core 102-108inch whip will not bend very much at speed. a wilson what ever will. a coil what ever will bend some but only the whip/stinger. this is why "some" see or hear a difference with a coiled blah blah antenna. the full length antenna wins every time if mounted corectly...

in order for the a99 and imax ground plane kit to work corectly. you must isolate the antenna from the mast and install a air choke or 1:1 balun at the feedpoint.
