Thats totally up to you. A roof mount wilson will do you just fine. Like i posted just above get the wilson 5000 the roof mount only needs one hole for that. Ball mounts need 4 hole's dont know if you want the many hole's in your roof. The main thing for best performence is the antenna...

if you dont want to run your power wires all the way to the battery there is a hot leed thats in the fuse block with nothing on it is should say (bat) but all ways make the ground a frame or body ground... hope this helps ya

My self i never run my DK any lower than 3 to 4 watts. Unless im running an amp then i bring down the DK to about 2 watts or till i find the sweet spot.

I my self and others have said the same thing get a 10amp regulated supply you will have enough supply for the radio with no probs

i wouldnt put antenna's on plastic mirror's go with 1 antenna on the roof like a wilson 5000 mag

all ya need is a 10 amp supply for that radio just make sure its regulated and you will be good to go

if you are going for dx then go with a quad 4 element like the SE quad or go with the maco shooting star 4 element both antenna's are very good beams and dont take a monster rotor to turn them.. just my 2 cent's

i have a wilson 5000 mag on our darango would like to put up a monky made or a 10 k but im not drilling hole in the roof make sure that you ground the hatch and the hood other wise forget trying to get a good SWR

ok here what im dealing with ive tryed wilson mag mounts from the 1000 to the 5000 i cant get them to tune in no matter what i do. So i went another route made me a mount put it up and made sure all the grounds are good even did body grounds. The antenna is a wilson 2000 with a ten on shaft...

For 11 meter's (cb) band it's 12 watts for ssb hope it helps ya 73's

My all time fav's is the Tram D201 and D201A's and for mobil's would have to be SBE formula D and SBE sidebander IV (4) Ham rig would have to be Drake TR4 & R4A they where awesome radio's when i had them

as for your freq counter its a diode change but i cant remember what one to change ill look around and try to find this for ya or maybe some else will pipe in
