One of the loudest radios in the World , my superstar 3000 does 5 watts swings 25 watts i run a d 104 desktop mic on mine , i had to put a audio chip in mine , its a alsome radio , i ant found any mods on this radio , other then my cb tech says its a mini galaxy radio

wanting to know about mossfet finals, i have installed mossfets in a cobra 25 and i can only get about 4 watts what am i doing wrong and what do i need to know to make it work.

i just bought a chrome cobra 29 a 2009 model , it has the mossfet finals in it , its peak and tuned it does 5 watts swings 30 watts . 100% mod , infact its wide open on this radio it sounds great.

2009 cobra 29 chromes , are set up with mossfet finals which push a lot of power , mine dead keys 5 watts swings 30 , the radio sounds good , mine was pecked and tuned by the old man . i suggest the 29 over 25 reason is the 29 has better ears then the 25 , tho the 25 is a good radio

if you use anouther radio turn on , and keyed down and lisen throw the 139 it sound like the person whispering , and i have the volume turned up , rf up dynamike up , nothing changes , same sound when ya unplug the radio to

well the guy who had it before me unhooked the pa and thats where the extra channels come in , the rf power meter does not move at all only modulation on the base moves

i have look at the board nothing burned the finals arnt burned ether idk what the deal is .

a Nice cobra 25 or 29 will work even cobra 19 an antenna a Wilson lil wil will work for ya .

well i get modulation on the radio it self the relay works and the modulation works on the mod meter on front on the radio but it wont make the in line meter move at all , i cant here Any one at all , i wish i new the issue , i like to know more on the moss fet conversion on the 139 if you would...

the in line meter works great tested it on my cobra 29 in the same day as well ,
