I had a galaxy 22b, 11b, 2517 they ALL had the rca jack marked REC and it was in fact to record.

actually you can record what you are receiving...get a mono rca cable on one end and a 1/8" stereo on the other and plug it into the line in on your pc

the radio comes with a dongle which plugs into the circuit board just behind the display

the board in that stryker looks like an old galaxy to me

I'll be listening on my Grants.They definitely are the best. What I don't understand is what makes it so hard to reproduce that radio's RX section. Cost, availabilty of parts,design,patent or what? We see where yet another "export"( Stryker) failed after claiming to have a receiver that would...

The RX sucks no matter how you slice it...King Mudduck hit the nail on the head....Doesn't matter how far it can talk and how pretty it is...It's as noisy as a Chinese Cobra 29... I don't understand why people can't be honest....I see why people sell them... Definitely an alligator radio :!:

ran it in the big truck today..it will talk its ass off but it's so darn noisy

Yeah DTB the RX range is good.Everyone I talk to says it has good strong modualtion. I like the radio just pointing out my opinions. Come on King Mudduck open the can of worms--nothing like a good debate :D

DTB aligned it ...nuff said...My ears are my test equipment...not hard to hear the excessive white noise present even without an antenna connected. It receives fine just has excessive noise.
