I used to talk to `330 DaRenda over in Bright Star Arkansas, that's what she had and it talked really good. I was told a coupla months ago that she had taken hers and the tower down.

I was looking at a Boomerang and more antennas on line just a few days ago, they were designed for your situation. I'll try to remember the others, one would handle 2400 watts
I've got horrible static this morning, solid 9 on AM and 6 on SSB. I can hear folks in there but at this point the noise is will need to go down some.

Here is what I put in line to help, a gray 300 draws a lot of amps. That is what you heard me talking on today, 50 amp supply running through the thousand watt capacitor. It levels the edges off the spikes going back into the supply.

That's nice! I do believe that is after I swapped back to the Royce 642, Gray 300 swinging about 225. First time the Gray has been fired up in 8-9 years.

I had been on my old Royce 642 earlier, but I had swapped over to the RCI 2980 to get a lower dk for the Gray 300. Had been on AM some also, made several contacts there and SSB.
That +2 is no slouch.
I have a new IMAX2000 w/new coax up on a 18' pole, it will talk farther than I can hear. The Palamar 500 Elite AKA Combo does from 150 swing to 280 swing.
I plan to put up a new Tornado soon, I've had it put back for 4-5 years. I am curious as to the difference it will make, I've heard the IMAX...
