W9cll, my wife's drive is about 30 mi as the Eagle flies, basically flat w/trees, few rolling hills and we live on a high point. What Base and Mobile antenna would you choose? On the car I'd rather go magnetic and not drill a hole, if possible.

I did hear a little in there on 16 LSB right after 6 pm CST this evening. Was not able to make out enough to make a contact. I did work several AM channels and 38 LSB was going good.
