I got what is called a Superstar 360FM aka a Cobra 148 GTL DX i love this radio audio is old school swings like a mad man on AM and SSB is nice after it warms up.

really if you want to find some interesting things get a $8 RTL-SDR it picks up 24mhz to 1.7 ghz no gaps ....you can do so much with it but you need a computer to use it so not sure of this will help you i use it with my laptop makes for fun when listening to local cops it can do it all :)

not sure if this is the right place to post but i picked up a 360FM on ebay it seems to work but has low power out and needs some cleaning and a alignment it seems like the meter sticks and the light is out i really want to restore this thing but do not want to spend more then its worth getting...

The 148 is the better radio.

looks like the inside of a anytone AT5555 V5 with a few things changed like a cover over the tuning pods in the center...theres also a xtal that missing from the 2nd box to the right might have something to do with TCXO or what ever its called in this radio.

I was thinking of getting one of these AnyTone AT5555 i use mostly sideband and want a stable radio is there anything i should know about these radios ? like known bugs the radio i would be getting is a V5.:confused1:
