Had a brand new Cobra 29 Classic that was only two weeks old died. There was no TX or RX not even a nudge on the meter showing any kind of life! Light did change from green to red when keyed. Went through the whole radio tracing down the problem and everything was checking out good up to L22...

Digging through my notes I found another one that I had built. This one can use a 12 volt meter build instead of a LED. Have to use a 9 volt battery on this one. I never put it in a case as the one I posted above works well with out all the extra parts and battery. Hope you enjoy.

Sorry LC, I don't remember a lot about it other then it was getting hotter the a fire cracker. The radio is factory and there was never no mods or anything done to it. Between you and Andy I have faith that you two will get her back going. I do remember it was one heck of a talking radio! Sad...
