It has four wires coming off of it. Black (ground) white(VCO o/p) brown (ground) red (vcc) orange (usb b+) and yellow (lsb b+). I am copying from the paper that came with the counter.
Can someone offer me help with how to hook up a Galaxy FC347 frequency counter to this radio? I think I read somewhere on the net that it has been done. Just having trouble finding any info on it. Thanks Radio Face said that.
I did notice that the humming stops when I key the microphone. Also, I tried the stock microphone on it today and it doesn't make the humming? What are your thoughts?
I did notice that the noise stops when I key the mic. I will unhook the LED and see if that helps. I notice that there is a sound that fluctuates with the LED changing colors but that is a different sound than the humming if that makes sense?
Trying to figure out this new to me old cruddy Galaxy dx44v. The radio transmits and receives fine. The problem that I am having is more of an annoyance. When i turn the squelch down I hear a audible humming sound through the speaker. The sound goes almost away when I lay the microphone down...
