    I got it done and reports are all good. Transmit and receive have both improved over the big stick type antenna that I was using.

    Well I got it all together and up in the air! I followed Alexis numbers of 21-5 from the radial plate to the tip, radials at 105” SWR is 1:2 to 1 on 40 and 1:1 to 1 on channel 1 I’ll take it!! Thanks for all the information. This is a great group on here!

    I’m looking for some help with my RM Italy 203 amp. I burnt the pf180 500v ceramic capacitor and I’m having a hard time getting that one. Could I use a silver mica pf180 500v as a replacement?

    Wow you guys are great at providing info! I’m going to try to get it set up this weekend. I’m going to set it up on a short mast out in the field. Hopefully I can get a reasonable swr before standing it on 40’ of mast on the roof

    I ordered a new SPT 500 and was wondering about adjusting swr. Is it done with the top section of the antenna or the bottom section?
