My mistake I read the face plate wrong! You are 100% wright it has nothing to due with the Normal/Channel switch. It has a small light that changes color when I key the mike. You diagnosed my problem it was eye sight!

What is TX/RX? I see this and I don't understand what it is.I want to purchase a better antenna in the spring but before I do I need to understand what you Pro's are talking about!

When I through the switch from normal to RX/TX the Chanel goes to #9. What dose TX/RX stand for? :oops:

This went on with no problem and now I have to set the SWR and it is completed until this spring! Then I will put the antenna on the roof with a Wilson 5000.
