FTAO Jazzy
Hey George I know your a friend of mine, if your a Mate of Caine, so no offence taken. The antenna is around 30 feet away I would say from the Shakesphere mast and after a good look today I would say only 3 foot in higher. I know a swop over would be better ,but there again the...
I do get your point Jazzy.....but I'm convinced it's the better antenna.I guess now it's up to people to take the plunge and judge in their own location . Good look to everybody
Good Luck
OK Mate, I have various top performing antennas for Ham Bands, my main been an Opti-beam. I have yagis ect for the CB band stored away, got a Mako Comet and a Jo Gunn in their boxes in the garage. But for my use on CB Bands the Shaky and now the Gain Master will do me just fine...
Not a Mud Duck Antenna!!
I honestly can't prove much more Scott. I found it well made ,not as good as the Shaky but good all the same, all I suggest on building it wrap the joints in self amalamating tape for weather protection and to add a bit of strenght on the joins.
Video 4 results.......
Now I PMed my mate Ian about doing another video (as there was no video at my end of the QSO). I realy didn't want anyone thinking any foul play was involved. He posted a reply @ midnight ,he had a second video done when me and Caine (the 5/9+30 station) was carrying out...
Gain Master VS 10K
Where are you Bob??..........maybe would be better (and more cheaper) for you to buy a Gain Master and compare it.Trust me I realy did wat the Shaky to kick its Ass. But no chance. Please I would love to see the results of that one Mate.
Robbing United Kindom .Com
Nice $129..............we pay £139, how can this be shipped all the way to the USA and be this cheap...........good old British Goverment "Greedy Tax" that's how!!:bdh::bdh:
Imax 2000
I had an Imax 2000 in around 2001. I found it was not up to our strong winds.........thus buying the Shakesphere. I know the Shakespere was a little stronger on both TX and RX compared to the Imax and that was prior to upgrading it with the radial kit and earth system........so in...
Large signals
I understand this all too well. But to move even an S9 + 30DB signal as it did is some feat over 12 miles. On every TX and RX test I have done I see between "S" 1 and "S" 3 improvement with "S" 2 the norm. It realy is like putting a pre amp in line on RX.
Another two way video with Radish
My Mate Ian is in a big city around 15 miles away, this is the 3rd video with the bigger signal jump The +30 video is over flat ground in the North Lincolnshire countryside.I didn't have the videogate rolling @ my end for the Radish video. I will conduct the...
Yes the music is a little "British" humour, we don't take life too serious. The answers in the songs. Anyway I can try it on the analiser on 12,15 and 17 meters for sure. To be honest I just tried it on the stated bands. I do know guys use Imax 2000s and A99s on those bands, I won't use mine on...
10 Meter Ham tests
On Wenesday evening I will be conducting 10 Meter Ham band tests on my Magnum 257HP and hopefully a Belcom LS102L if I get time to use both. All videos will be uploaded to Youtube with the findings this week......73's De Dave M0OGY North Lincolnshire UK.
Sirio Gain Master Video 3
Now this is the most impressive , It is just on the same power, no trickery or BS......this is for real Fellas. I hope this helps make your minds up. I spent all weekend in the UKs Rain building and installing this antenna and filming and editting these reviews and...

Hello Marconi. Yes I did the Part 2 review on Sunday evening . The Shakesphere I use has had 10 years development. I have a boomer 8 section radial kit fitted and an earth kit into Rock Salt. I have owned Imax 2000, Sirio 827s and many others. NOTHING has performed better at my QTH than the...
OK Robb ,no problem. The tubing wall thickness is around 3MM on all four sections. I feel the antenna is well built and the fibreglass is far better quality than a Solarcon product. I guess going up to 5MM would add to the weight to much..........73's Dave
Hello Lightfoot .........nice to finaly post on the Worldwide Radio Forum. I have had mine (got it direct from Sirio in Italy) around a week ago. Due to my job ,it will be a couple of weeks before I do my side by side with it. As I said on my video, I feel it's well built .I think it will work...
