Pity this thread died of old age. I have a Cobra 2000 that I was thinking of doing the 2999/1730 swap. I needed to know if the pinout is the same for both transistors.

Mine's dim too. Was new out of the box.

It's dead as a door nail all the way to the Pacific along the 40/10. Except some skip on 6 of course and some illegals on freeband SSB calling home, or trying to anyhow. Nobody.
