Id keep what you have. Ive used the lil wil and the 1000 and there is a very noticable difference.

I use a sadelta or a d104 on AM. I think the galaxy is the same as my sadelta. I think the delta sounds as good as the d104 and alsobworks great on SSB it youbturn the gain down. I don't use echo so that don't have anything to do with me running one.

I use the same meter. Works great.

The second base antenna i even used was a channel master. It looked just like a starduster but was gold in color.

I run the h/v 5 element and it works great. Going bigger gets you very little for the money spent. Make sure and spend extra for a strong mast. Peace!

Astron makes some nice ones. I use the ss-18 for some of my radios and 0 hash in the recieve. Great supplies in my opinion.

A 2 element cubex would work great. Built strong for a quad and it wont be hard to get to if you have problems at 21 ft. CUBEX 11m CB MODELS

I like me having at least one antenna of each polarity. I have a dual polarity 5 element maco and at different times one will work alot better than the other. Lately overall vertical has been working better than horz into europe for me. Also for local its nice to have both. Talking to locals on...
