I have a BR 21 that i'm restoring for a buddy and the tubes are flat.. I cannot find any info on the brand used. Does anyone know what brand that the tubes were?

Not a good antenna if you run high power.. The radio shack versions were even worse as they used a printed board with the coil etched on it..

So the SD 1446 is a direct drop in replacement?

I have a base amp that has dead MRF 455 stud mounds.. What else can i use if anything? Or should i just toss the amp in the garbage can?

I know this is a long shot on here but i'm looking for a amp that uses MRF 455 pills or a pair of MRF 455s. I need them for an amp i'm working one.

Oh and the issue with the filaments B+ voltage was weird. It was the fuse that was bad that caused that however it did not blow when the 120 was applied to it only when the HV was applied then it blew.. So the amp turned on and had 120 volts that lit the status light but no HV... That's when i...

I replaced them and the amp is working 100%! :-) I had a Demco Demon 500 amp that had the very same issues with the diodes in the rectifier going bad and it blew fuses. I replaced them and it also worked 100%.

bad rectifier diodes... I wonder if Radio Shack has any that i can use??

I just put in new caps as the old ones looked pretty funky.
